Which player will win the 2018 Fifa World Cup?
A number of names have been linked to a potential future bid for the 2018 World Cup, with the most notable of them being Gianluigi Buffon and Juventus legend Giorgio Chiellini.
However, the Giallorossi have insisted they are not for sale and are in no hurry to make a move.
Juventus president Massimo Moratti has confirmed the club’s intention to make an offer to buy out Buffon’s contract at the end of the season, although the player has not ruled out a possible move away from Turin.
Juve have also expressed an interest in Chiella, who they hope will help them qualify for next year’s Champions League.
Chiella is not currently contracted to Juventus, but Moratti is adamant the Italian giants would be willing to sell the 30-year-old.
“I’m not aware of any other club that’s interested in him,” Moratti told reporters on Monday.
“We’ll wait until the end, and then we’ll make a decision.”
Chiellina, who was in charge of Italy’s first-team last season, has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months, including Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal.
